BACKGROUND
In 1999, Marilyn Petersen opened LOOKS after working as a stylist for about twenty years. She worked for several salons and came away from each one with ideas that helped lay the foundation and plans for how a salon should be run.
Marilyn always says: I wanted it to be pretty, clean, and modern. I wanted to hire the best, most professional stylists. And I wanted to include a spa to create a full-service, relaxing environment.
Our mission statement became “Comfortable Elegance,” and I think we achieved our goal of making our clients feel very pampered in a beautiful space.
In 2011, we moved the salon to a larger 10,000 square foot space. It allowed us to grow and to create an even more elegant atmosphere for our clients, as well as the staff.
LOOKS SALON AND SPA POLICIES
New clients scheduling with us require a card on file and the first visit may be subject to a $100 deposit. The deposit is transferable/refundable up to 48-hours prior to the appointment.
For all clients, no-shows or rescheduling/canceling less than 48-hours prior to the scheduled appointment can incur a 50% service fee, and any deposit balance will remain on your client account to be used at a future date.
Deposits for recurring visits are limited to only a select few services.
The physical Gift Card is needed in order to be redeemed (we need to scan the number). LOOKS is not responsible for any lost or stolen gift cards.
Retail products have a 60-day return/exchange policy. Products must be 75% unused or more to qualify.
